Camp Fees & Information

Payments

Payment in full is due by May 1 in order to secure your camper's placement. Camp Nejeda accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Payments can be made in installments as long as the last payment is received before May 1. Registrations are accepted after May 1 if there is space available.

Financial Aid

All campers are subsidized 1/2 the cost of camp by the Camp Nejeda Foundation. Many campers solicit financial aid for camp from local charities and service organizations like the Lions, Kiwanis and hospital outreach programs or from their churches and/or relatives. Financial aid is also available through the Camp Nejeda Foundation's Campership Program. You must be registered for Camp Nejeda in order to apply for financial aid. Campership applications can be filled out in the Parent Portal and will be available when registration opens. The completed form and supporting documentation is due back in the Foundation office on or before April 15th. Application review and financial aid determinations are done on a rolling basis. Applications are accepted after that date if there is space and/or funding available.

Cancellations & Refunds

Registration fees are refundable only if we are unable to register your camper for camp. Tuition fees are refundable up to 2 months before the beginning of your camper’s session. Within 2 months of camp, tuition fees are only refundable if we are able to re-fill your camper’s spot with another camper. In the event a program is canceled by the Camp Nejeda Foundation all Tuition fees will be refunded.

About our fees

The Camp Nejeda Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations from individuals, foundations and corporations help us to keep camp fees lower than our actual costs, which are more than $2,000 per camper per week. Charitable contributions also provide the funds to offer camperships to 30% of our families each year. We do not receive operating support from government agencies, the ADA or the JDRF.

Diverse Population and Non-Discrimination

The Camp Nejeda Foundation does not discriminate based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, ability, sexual identity, geography, or socio-economic status; we welcome our campers from all walks of life and all backgrounds. Our campers reflect the diverse population affected by type 1 diabetes.
